Our discussions centered on the importance of youth involvement in promoting safety and preventing urban violence in the community. The young people from Kambi Lendu area of Kibera spoke passionately about living in a safe community that fosters prosperity and happiness.

The youths proposed that stakeholders support capacity-building initiatives for young people in the community to enhance their skills and, ultimately, improve their livelihoods. This way, the youths will be productive and less likely to indulge in crime or be used as agents of insecurity. This was a truly powerful and insightful session with the young people
